The US Senate has voted to approve Gina Haspel as the primary feminine director of the Central Intelligence Company.

Her affirmation follows a partisan combat amongst senators concerning the spy company’s previous use of torture methods.

Ms Haspel, a CIA veteran, was confirmed by a vote of 51-43. She oversaw a so-called black website in Thailand after the 11 September assault.

The previous CIA chief, Mike Pompeo, left to grow to be US Secretary of State.
